Intro

Introduction

Thirty Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva is an important lojong text written in 14th century Tibet by Gyalsé Tokmé Zangpo. In thirty seven verses it gives instructions on how to follow the bodhisattva path. It has been said that the Eight Verses of Training the Mind represents the short version of lojong, the Thirty Seven Practices is the medium, and Shantideva's Bodhicharyavatara is the extensive version.

Thirty-seven Practices clarifies the day-to-day behaviour of a Bodhisattva (an enlightened being on their way to attaining full Buddhahood) and gives advice on how to practise this in your own life: a practical guide as you travel the path towards enlightenment.

*This course is suitable for all levels of practitioners.
