Mahayana Guru:
1. A mind controlled by pure morality.
2. A mind that is pacified and undistracted through the practice of concentration.
3. A mind completely pacified by discriminating wisdom.
4. Having greater knowledge than the disciple.
5. Having perseverance.
6. A wealth of scriptural knowledge
7. Realisation of muchness, the wisdom perceiving emptiness.
8. Skill in teaching the Dharma.
9. Having love and compassion
10. Having abandoned discouragement and laziness in teaching the Dharma.
